THE SAINT VINCENT'S CHRISTMAS PARTY WAS A BIG SUCCESS...THANKS TO THE HARD WORK AND GENEROSITY OF SMALL MIRACLES FOUNDATION SUPPORTERS AND VOLUNTEERS LIKE
ROBERT, LISA, & JOHN NEWMAN

This is John Newman, son of  Robert & Lisa
Newman.  He has a heart bigger than Texas,
and is smart as a whip.  John attended the St. Vincent's Christmas party with his parents and
lent a helping hand in all areas...without
anyone having to ask.  When John heard about
the party and some of the PA families in need, he decided on his own to raise monies at his school
to present to Small Miracles Foundation.

John raised $400 through his schoolmates, and this money was used by SMF toward the purchase of a new computer system that was given to Billy Lamon for educational use.  Billy and family have had to cope with their mother's bout with terminal cancer.  Small Miracles Staff and all volunteers are proud of the  work John Newman put forth to assist Billy and the Children at St. Vincent's....he is a person we all admire and love.  Thank you so much John...you're the best.

Pictured above (l-r) are Zachary Newman (age 4 mos), Lisa Newman, John Newman (age 8 1/2), and Dr. Robert Newman.  The Newman family first heard about the St. Vincent's Christmas party when they were watching a Television Newscast.  When they learned that someone stole the "donation cannister" from the Shop-n-Bag store in the Mayfair Shopping Center, they phoned the Small Miracles Foundation office and offered to replace the stolen money.

As if that were not enough, Mr. & Mrs. Newman
volunteered their time at the St. Vincent's Christmas party, and brought with them tons of extra gifts, clothing and other items for needy children at St. Vincent's.   Mr. & Mrs. Newman are unique, good hearted, caring individuals, and our volunteers could feel these qualities just being around them for a short time.   What goes around, comes around, and we all wish the Newman Family much health and happiness throughout the years.  Thanks again for reaching out to help needy children and families in Pennsylvania.
