SHOP-n-BAG SUPERMARKETS DONATE SPACE IN MAYFAIR AND FRANKFORD LOCATIONS FOR SMALL MIRACLES FOUNDATION - SAINT VINCENTS FUNDRAISING EVENT

For many years, the Shop-n-Bag Supermarket chain has demonstrated its positive community spirit when it comes to helping those in need.  This year, when SMF told them it needed to conduct a gift fundraiser to hold a Christmas Party for the children at St. Vincent's Home,  Shop-n- Bag President, Harry Gilbert, donated space inside of the chain's stores at the Mayfair Shopping Center and Frankford & Pratt locations.

Children's Fundraiser signs were posted
at all Shop-n-Bag check-out stations.

Shop-n-Bag area residents were very generous in helping others, and as a result donation levels enabled Small MIracles Foundation to give gifts to 84 children at St. Vincents Home...hold a christmas party and pizza party for the children, and conduct a magic show, balloon sculpting and face painting.  SMF was also able to donate monies to various families in need in the Philadelphia and New Jersey areas.  Information regarding these donations may be acquired by contacting our Foundation.

100% of the proceeds went toward buying gifts and a majority of the proceeds was not money, but gifts donated by various local companies, as in the past.
